Our high-quality granular activated carbon is created by heating raw materials such as coconut shells, wood and coal to a high temperature which allows it to create small pores on the surface. The particles the process creates have enormous potential for adsorption and filtration, with the pores able to rid water and gas of a range of contaminants. GAC can be used in air or water filtration systems to provide optimal filtration whatever kind of flow rates you operate at.
This product is larger than the powdered activated carbon we offer and has granules which are around 0.2mm up to 5mm making it easy to add to any filtration system. As it has a larger size, it can be cleaned easier which makes it able to be reused, offering an eco-friendly option to businesses using large amounts of activated carbon.
